Corey graduated summa cum laude with a BA in mathematics from New York University. His experience includes both group and private tutoring sessions, ranging from elementary to upper-level undergraduate courses.

Mykola is a PhD student at Princeton University, specializing in Applied Physics. He holds an MS in Applied Math from the prestigious Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). Mykola served a teaching assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology (New Jersey) and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (Russia), teaching at undergraduate level math and science courses. Charlie earned his BA in Physics from Middlebury College in May of 2010. He is currently pursuing his MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology, where he focuses his research on nanotechnology and control theory. Charlie takes a pragmatic approach to the natural sciences - emphasizing the meaning of equations rather than just symbols on a page. In such a way, even the most difficult concepts become grounded in the real world and relevant to the student's life. In his free time, Charlie plays several musical instruments, focusing on upright bass, which he plays with a folk band in the New York area. Charlie has also worked as a divemaster, a sailing instructor and a teacher's assistant.

It detects molecular binding interactions allows to provide a platform technology that can address many areas of the global healthcare industry from personalized medicine and infectious diseases to the agriculture and food market. Hassan obtained two master's degree in chemistry from the University of San Fracisco (USF) and Quaid-E-Azam University (QAU), graduating with Highest Honors.

Seyed M. Mottaghinejad - Statistics and Linear Algebra

Seyed holds a B.S. in Statistics, and 3 years of experience tutoring various subjects in stats, including introductory statistics, regression, ANOVA, experimental design, and nonparametric methods. Seyed is also familiar with statistical packages such as R, SPSS, SAS, Stata, and Excel. He is able to explain complex statistical concepts in plain English. Steve has his Masters degree in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University. He completed a summer internship in derivatives trading in 2008 at an investment bank, and is preparing for his career in the finance industry. In his previous career, he was a consulting actuary who earned his ASA in 2007. Steve began tutoring students while attending NC State University in the university tutoring center. He has also worked with students at non-profit after school programs in Washington, DC and New York City. Steve particularly enjoys tutoring students in statistics, probability, and financial mathematics.

Byron Roberts - Biology

Byron is a PhD student in the Tri-Institutional Training Program in Computational Biology & Medicine at Cornell University Weill Medical College, building and using computational models of heart cells to better understand why patients develop certain types of cardiac electrical disturbances (arrhythmias). Byron obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Genetics from the University of California, Davis, graduating with Highest Honors. After graduating from UC Davis, Byron took a position as a postgraduate researcher, conducting brain cancer research for two years before starting graduate school.

Byron has served as both a teaching assistant and tutor, working with students from high school to university level.

John is a M.D. student at New York Medical College, and enjoys teaching and learning about all aspects of the natural sciences, especially physiology, anatomy & cell biology, and microbiology. John plans on entering the field of internal medicine and hopes to sub-specialize in gastroenterology. Lisa Stahl - English and Test Prep

Lisa Stahl, an accomplished writer, and instructor, completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Anthropology, and graduated summa cum laude from SUNY at Buffalo. She then earned a Master’s Degree in English with honors from Columbia University and completed most of her doctoral credits on full academic scholarship.. She also won a NY Times Foundation scholarship to NYU Writer’s Conference.

Ms. Stahl has taught writing, critical thinking, film and literature, and other classes on the college and university level for more than 15 years, working with all levels of students. While teaching, she also tutored for private test prep schools in California and at UCLA. Her expertise is test preparation and writing. Lisa Stahl is a magazine writer, researcher and editor. She contributes regularly to Art and Living magazine, Editor at Large, and other publications, and also writes promotional materials and biographical articles. As a researcher for a very prominent political strategist, she had the opportunity to contribute to two books published this year – on politics and international affairs. Ms. Stahl studied classical piano as a child at Juilliard School of Music.
