Corey graduated summa cum laude with a BA in mathematics from New York University. His experience includes both group and private tutoring sessions, ranging from elementary to upper-level undergraduate courses. Charlie earned his BA in Physics from Middlebury College in May of 2010. He is currently pursuing his MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology, where he focuses his research on nanotechnology and control theory. Charlie takes a pragmatic approach to the natural sciences - emphasizing the meaning of equations rather than just symbols on a page. In such a way, even the most difficult concepts become grounded in the real world and relevant to the student's life. In his free time, Charlie plays several musical instruments, focusing on upright bass, which he plays with a folk band in the New York area. Charlie has also worked as a divemaster, a sailing instructor and a teacher's assistant.
